It's a phone, not a supercomputer Review by ilivewithmyphone
First, I I'm in business and I have some history with cell phones going back to the 1990s. I've had them all-Apple iPhones, Nokias, Motorola Droids, several iterations of the Samsung Galaxy-but this was only my second ZTE. I ended up with a Z828 by default when I dropped my Samsung Galaxy and shattered the screen into a million pieces. The Z828 was actually a surprise. Intuitive menus, quick processor, and as long as you don't overload it with a million memory hungry apps it works just fine. I wouldn't try to edit a movie on it (guess some folks have some pretty big expectations for a smartphone haha) but it's not designed for that. It takes pretty good pictures, surfs the Internet quickly and sound quality with both the handset speaker and the external speaker is pretty good. I've been using it for work for the past week now, doing emails, texts, and shooting Oodles of photographs which I then upload to the cloud. Hasn't been a single problem. I've downloaded about 7 apps and a couple of CPU management tools from AVG that help me watch the memory cache and clean it when I need to. That's all you need to do with a smartphone that has limited memory. All in all, I'm pretty impressed. This was my second ZTE phone and for the investment they're right up there with Samsung and Motorola. 8 gig memory is a little restrictive if you want to keep dozens of photos on your phone but that's what the cloud is for. good start but lacking a strong finish Review by enjoyzteglory
Android pay compatible BUT no NFC? only 5mp camera? marshmallow 6.0 is cool but almost too simple, like a senior phone? I purchased it 4 days ago and have had to reboot it several times. the 1gb ram is killing me and the phone doesn't not have a decent systems cleaner. of and please bring back the file manager from lollipop!!!! miss the simplicity of being able to move files around. the CyanogenMod file manager is definitely for advanced users, so be prepared for a lot of trial and error.
