    How to connect your Wi-Fi device to your Mobile HotSpot.

    1. Power on your Mobile HotSpot. 2. On your computer or other Wi-Fi enabled device, search for available Wi-Fi Networks and select the default Network Name (SSID) for your Mobile HotSpot. 3. Enter the default password and click OK. Note:  Open the back cover, and then you can find the default Network Name (SSID) and password.  It may take up to a minute to establish a connection. 4. Open a web browser and go!

    Did your browser take you to a T-Mobile Activation Page?

    Yes: Simply follow the on-screen instructions to set up your No Annual Contract service. No: Your service is already active and you are ready to go! Note: By activating service, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by each of T-Mobile’s Terms and Conditions and your Service Agreement.

    How to reset the device.

    Insert an object and hold the Reset point for 3 seconds to reset your device.

    How to pay for using TMO network resources.

    Postpaid Monthly Overage-Free Mobile Broadband Plans: 2 year agreements required. Domestic roaming not possible. Roaming charges may apply to use via non-T-Mobile owned Wi-Fi networks.     How to encrypt my Wi-Fi connection.

    Select Configuration--->Hotspot Settings--->WIFI Security, then you can choose Encryption mode and set password. Click save to apply.

    My battery does not charge all the time.

    The device may get hot when used in low coverage or high data transfer modes. In these conditions the battery cannot be charged due to safety limits with Li-ion battery technology. Charge your device in the off state or when not in use.

    Why my MF96 can’t connect to internet?

    1. Confirm your (U)SIM has fee. 2. Confirm your MF96 is power on with battery 3. Confirm the signal is good. 4. Check whether APN is right.

    Data connection failed.

    You have no network coverage. Try moving location until you get good reception. Coverage Note: Service, including 4G coverage, not available everywhere.     How to power on and power off MF96.

    Press and hold the Power key for 2~3 seconds to turn on. The LCD lights up, after the initialization of the device, device UI home page will display on the LCD. Press and hold the Power key for 2~3 seconds to turn off. The LED shows "Goodbye!", then it turns off and the device powers off.

    How to set up your Mobile HotSpot.

    How to charge your Mobile HotSpot.

    You can charge your Mobile HotSpot using a wall outlet or by plugging it in to your computer using the USB cable.

Select the Remember Password checkbox if you wish to bypass the login screen in the future. 5. Click Log In. If you entered the correct password, the T-Mobile webConnect Dashboard screen appears.

    Can I access T-Mobile webConnect by starting the T-Mobile webConnect Companion application?

    To access T-Mobile webConnect using the T-Mobile webConnect Companion application, do the following: 1. Connect to your hotspot device via Wi-Fi using the network connection software on your computer. Provide the Wi-Fi network password, if requested. 2. Start the T-Mobile webConnect Companion application. The T-Mobile webConnect Companion’s icon appears in your system tray (Windows) or Menu bar (Mac). 3. Right-click the icon to display the menu. 4. Select the View T-Mobile webConnect menu option. The T-Mobile web-Connect Companion Login screen appears. 5. Enter your T-Mobile webConnect Administration Password in the field provided. The default password is admin. 6. Select the Remember Password checkbox if you wish to bypass the login screen in the future. 7. Click Log In. If you entered the correct password, the T-Mobile webConnect Companion Main screen appears. 8. Click the Full View button. The T-Mobile webConnect Dashboard screen appears in a browser window.

    How to change T-Mobile webConnect Admin Password?

    1. Access T-Mobile webConnect. The Dashboard screen appears. 2. Click Configuration in the navigation area to access the Configuration screen. 3. Select the Hotspot Settings tab on the Configuration screen. 4. Click Change Password in the Admin Password area. The Change Admin Password dialog appears. 5. Enter your current password in the Password field. 6. Enter the new password in the New field. 7. Re-enter the new password in the Verify field. 8. Click Change. If everything is entered correctly, the Admin Password Changed dialog appears indicating the password was successfully changed.

    How to change T-Mobile webConnect Hotspot Network Name (SSID)?

    1. Access T-Mobile webConnect. The Dashboard screen is displayed. 2. Click Configuration in the navigation area to access the Configuration screen. 3. Select the Hotspot Settings tab on the Configuration screen. 4. Change the name that appears in the Network Name (SSID) field in the WiFi Settings area. 5. Select or deselect the Broadcast network name checkbox to enable or disable broadcasting the hotspot’s Network Name (SSID). 6. Click Save to save your changes on the Hotspot Settings tab of the Configuration screen.

    How to change T-Mobile webConnect Hotspot Wi-Fi Password?

    1. Access T-Mobile webConnect. The Dashboard screen is displayed. 2. Click Configuration in the navigation area to access the Configuration screen. 3. Select the Hotspot Settings tab on the Configuration screen. 4. Change the value that appears in the Password field in the WiFi Settings area. 5. Click Save to save your changes on the Hotspot Settings tab of the Configuration screen.

    USIM card unidentified

    Power off the device and insert the USIM card again or replace with a new card.

    What should we do if the device cannot connect to internet when roaming?

    1)Check whether the network of the device is locked. If it is, the device cannot be used internationally. 2)Check whether the roaming service of USIM card is enabled. If not, contact with network service provider. 3)Contact with supplier to check the APN settings.

    Why did LCD light off after my device charged for a while?

    It is because the LCD lights off automatically for power saving. When there is no user connecting to MF96 for a period of time, the LCD lights off automatically. Shortly press Power key to light on. You can also shortly press Power key to light off LCD manually.

    Does MF96 support SD card?

    Yes. Micro SDHC,2G~32GByte Capacity,SD 2.0 Class 6

    The SD card cannot be read or is not found.

    Re-insert the SD card. The maximum capacity is 32GB card. Or you can try another SD card and make sure the capacity and format is correct.

    How long could I use the MF96?

    MF96’s standby time is approximately GSM: 6days, UMTS 5days and working time is approximately 5hours. Notes: The device’s standby and working time are only for your reference, and based on ideal working environment.

    There is no responds after connect charger with MF96.

    1) Please check whether connected power supply electricity normally; 2) Check whether data cable or charger cable is correct.

    The download or upload speeds are very slow.

    The speed is dependent on signal strength. Check your network signal.

    What should we do if we cannot log in any websites after the device connects to the internet?

    Please try the steps: 1)Check whether the computer receives data. If not, check whether the APN setting of the device is set correctly. 2)Check whether the browser is normal. Upgrade the browser or install it again. Or you can try with another browser. 3)Check whether the computer is infected. Use professional antivirus program to remove the virus. 4)Check whether you connect to other APN. Then make connection again.
