I thought I would give this model a try to see if I had any luck with moving apps to the sd card. Not at all. I was very excited to get it because of the size. I had an iPhone 6+ but I had dropped it and the screen shattered. It needs new glass but it is a US Cellular phone. I am hoping to try out the zmax champ from Total Wireless and hopefully it will alow me to move apps to the sd card. For now I am back to the Majesty Pro Lte. My favorite thing about ZTE phones so far is how loud they are. This is a great feature because I am a very hard sleeper. I recommend putting that in the specifications from now on if apps can be moved to the SD card or not. (Posted on 9/16/2017)
Do not purchase unless you only want to talk. My old I-phone died, so looked for something reasonable, well $ 110 dollars (I too bought the extra 32 GB SD card. Waste of money, believe the above reviews. I was in a rush and didn't do my research. I'm not even hoping an update will help, as with pre-loaded crap I don't know if I have enough memory to update. Guess I'm off to get another updated iPhone. PS I had the iPhone 5 for over 8 years, so got my money's worth. That was back when phones were cheap! We have warned,so please be aware. I knew this phone wouldn't be like my HTC desire, but I hoped it would be an alright phone. My internet runs slow despite HD DSL connection. I could accept that annoyance but the system came preloaded with two unneeded apps, app finder despite the system running Google play store, and browser when Google chrome was loaded too. This causes system to take up 5/6g of memory. That means my necessary apps are limited and causes phone acting up and storage alert constantly. I could make it work if I could transfer my necessary apps to SD card but there's no option. I'm praying there will be system update to resolve these. I love the call clarity on speaker, the volume of speakers for calls and videos. And I'm digging the smart Lock so far. I'm sure I'd enjoy the other features if my phone was working right. I rely heavily on my phone for work and for life purposes. Wal-Mart plus Straight Talk equals one heck of a headache. Your walking through Wal-Mart and spot a ZTE ZFIVE 2 LTE with a supposed 32GB memory expansion, $50? Not bad right? Upgrading to 6.0.1 Marshmallow instead of KitKat. Get home, install the 32GB SD card and... Wait. Why can't I move apps to my SD card!? I sadly rely on a few apps daily and now I can't!? My question is: Is ZTE responsible for this, Android/Google or Straight talk/Wal-Mart? Rooting does no good, research seems pointless after doing it for a week and nobody seems to have any answers. Kind of disappointed because my first smartphone was a ZTE Majesty and that was a great little phone. This thing just sucks on a massive scale. If I could update my phone and transfer apps/files I would be most pleased. Don't see it happening, sadly. It's what I get for getting a $50 phone I suppose.
$50 screwed (Posted on 7/26/2017)
This phone is misleading, the package says 8gb internal and an additional 32gb micro SD. But most of the internal memory is used by the operating system and the useless apps. The micro SD is useless also, because you can't move any apps into it. I just purchased this phone and can't upload any apps because I'm almost out of memory, basically it's just a phone, not very useful beyond that... (Posted on 6/28/2017)
I bought this phone thinking I was getting a phone with 8 GB of memory plus my 16 GB SD card. Boy was I wrong. Once you take in to account all the junk they pre-loaded on the phone you really only get about 2.5 gb of memory. Which would be ok if you could load apps to your SD card. But you can't! So I have a fraction of my apps on this phone and get constant messages that I am out of memory. I can't even update my email anymore. I also can't get service in much of my area. I am switching back to my old LG and giving this phone to my 12 year old niece. Maybe she'll have better luck with it. (Posted on 6/24/2017)
