This phone is awesome in every way. Great looks, great screen , lots of ram, enough storage and a great music phone all wrapped up with a great price! Me and my wife decided to get new cell phones this year. So instead of buying the cheapest phone from the Cricket store we decided to buy some really nice phones because we use them a lot more now. We had just recently purchased our son a new phone for Christmas. He wanted and got the new Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. After playing with his phone for a couple of minutes that day we decided to purchase two more of the Samsung Galaxy's for ourselves. Well like always I do a little research on a purchase of this much and came upon the ZTE Axon 7. After hours of reading reviews and spec sheets on the Axon 7 I decided to purchase one for my wife. After we received it we were very pleased with our purchase to say the least. The price and warranty is what sold me on this phone for my wife because she can be a little hard on phones. Although I didn't go this way when I purchased my phone a couple of days later it wasn't because I didn't like the phone I just wanted to try out another phone I was interested in. Which was the OnePlus 3T 128gb. I do personally think that the OnePlus 3T is a very slightly better phone although I had to pay more for it. All and all this was a great learning experience for me. I learned that you can purchase two great phones for the price of a Samsung galaxy s7 Edge. (Samsung+2yr warranty -$1000)

Before I purchased the phone, I've read a lot of great reviews. And that's what prompted me to buy this phone. I received this phone less than a week ago. I absolutely love it!!! it is straight talk compatible...and its working just fine!! Super fast, easy to use, great quality with a great price. I replaced my iPhone 6s with this and don't regret doing so. The only thing i wish was different is the notifications bell on the phone. OVERALL i am pleased! (Posted on 5/12/2017)
all i can say is that it is a beautiful phone. in 6 mo. they are now sending my 3rd replacement, refurbished ! that will make 4 phones in 6 mo. after 6 wks. it corrupted my sd card 128gb $90, finger print scanner is sporadic & sometimes very slow or it doesn't work. upgrade to nougat messed up everything including sd card. they REFUSE to replace a NEW DEFECTIVE phone with a NEW PHONE, where are their ETHICS!?? the worst customer service ever! take the money & thank you sucker! they take no responsibility for the defects. battery drains Very Fast! "my voice" didn't work on 3 phones. had to download,uninstall many times for it to work. gBoard when updated lost the app! remove,download update , remove etc.,if you do that eventually you will get Gboard!
zte said it is google store having problems! i REGRET DEALING w/ZTE. there are better phones & companies that want to KEEP customers,
carry a charger with you, moderate use you will be recharging 2-3-4 x a day! drops wifi calling, carrier said it is the phone! typing you have to hit the letters or words. then out of the clear blue it is ok, except hitting on words. a refurbished iPhone w/warranty is better than this! or go to a pawn shop! i love the looks of the phone, the camera light at night is POOR!

I like phone but since nougat update, the ultra power saving mode will not turn off. its not that big of a problem but it still bothers me. please fix this please. I don't know if its because I updated it with it on or what but has not turned off! (Posted on 3/21/2017)

The phone is stuck on the startup splash screen after two factory resets. When I started the phone for the first time the system data was fragmenting the internal card to 13 gigs instead of Android's 2 gig specification for marshmallow 6.0. Tech support did not acknowledge the corrupt card. I can't keep factory resetting, eventually the internal SD card will stop working altogether. Reading the previous reviews, RMA is just going to land me a replacement phone that was "repaired" and passed for resale by ZTE. I did notice the serial label on the back of the phone was dirty, I can't believe ZTE sells used phones like this. (Posted on 1/29/2017)
This phone has been given me nothing but problems. i sent the phone twice to get fix for camera issues ,audio and video problems. i keep on get the phone with problem know the Dolby atmos is not turning off and on when i press the button. i have the same problem when recording videos in a quiet room alot of internal noise from the phone recorded. biggest piece of shit.
