Not much help from ZTE's Support Review by Dillon
The "official update" doesn't work for this phone. The installation fails every time. The manufacturer part number within the update files isn't even correct. I checked myself. That's the error it keeps giving me. I guess I'll have to root it to get any decent function out of it. (Posted on 5/31/2016)
Rendered useless by a cheap charger input. Review by Carol
It died....all it took was plugging it in to charge apparently, one too many time.s. It jammed and is now, useless. I've only had it six months. (Posted on 9/27/2015)

ehhh Review by Elishah
At first when I got this phone a year ago it was awesome for my needs. But now I've added a 14 GB SD card and rooted for my games and now it gets so hot you can barely hold it it also boots you from games mid game ( frustrating) but I'm about to try an update to kit kat and see if that helps my issues. I'll keep you all posted.

Piece of junk Review by Jason
Another thing this phone likes to do and has from almost day one is not ring when you get a call. I've watched the phone say "incoming call" but remain silent. Sometimes it doesn't even say incoming call, it just says missed call. Doesn't always do it. The ringer is on. Lots of missed calls because of this. (Posted on 1/30/2015)
Piece of junk Review by Jason
I got it in September. Little slow but to be expected. Otherwise OK. In December the ear speaker stopped working. Well it works but sounds like Charlie Brown's teacher so it's pretty much speakerphone or headphones only now. Now it's January and the SD card reader stopped working. It just doesn't see the card. So this phone is OK if you only need it to work for a couple months, otherwise I'd steer clear. (Posted on 1/30/2015)
Amazing Review by Sridutt
First time i got this phone it was kinda slow and battery life was low. Then I rooted the phone. It was 100% faster. I also installed a new launcher which gave it even more speed. I have no problems with it at all. Battery life is pefect (Posted on 1/12/2015)
well rounded smartphone Review by Jesse
I purchased an unlocked version of this phone. I haven't had any real issues even after I rooted it. The phone stays charged all day as long as I'm not using Facebook or programs that stream video. Also, the front face camera isnt good enough to use the face unlock feature. It has its glitchy moments but all in all I like it. (Posted on 1/3/2015)
too many issues Review by Jessi
At first, I really liked this phone. I got this phone in June, and it has given me nothing but issues. Shortly after I got it, it wouldn't hold a charge, and even if it was plugged in, it would still turn on and off. It happened again recently. Then a few weeks after it happened the first time, it stopped letting me receive text messages. I could send them, make calls, go on the internet... I could do everything the phone offered, except receive text messages. Once again, it happened again. The first time, I had to factory reset it. I'd do it again this time, but why? What's the point when it will happen again? Lastly, I have system update for the SD card update. The instructions for this are very complicated. It gives me no information on how to do this, and the little information the website gives, isn't helpful. So all in all, I have had nothing but bad experiences with this phone. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with it, and quite frankly, I'd rather not have a phone a this point. (Posted on 10/5/2014)
